Bio. He is a National Board certified Acupuncturist and Herbalist since 1997, and also a Diplomate in Acupuncture and in Chinese Herbology. After completing his doctorate at New Jersey Institute of Technology, he received his postdoctoral training at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School. He further continued his education at Mercy College, becoming a licensed Acupuncturist in New Jersey and New York.
He is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Pharmacology, Physiology and Neuroscience at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School, where he is considered amongst his peers as a pioneer in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine research. To date, he has published 39 research papers in first-class journals and currently serves as an editorial reviewer for the American Journal of Physiology and Microcirculation Journal and holds research grants from the National Institutes of Health.
